Terms of Use
Last updated: October 25, 2026. The simple agreement for using this site.
Welcome to Learn True Self. By using learntrueself.com you agree to these terms. They are written to be clear and kind, but they are still an agreement, so please read them.
Who we are
This site is run by Ashley James, a sole proprietor doing business as "Learn True Self" ("we", "us"), based in Washington State, USA. Mailing address: Ashley James, d/b/a Learn True Self, 14241 NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd #342, Woodinville, WA 98072. Contact: support@learntrueself.com.
Our content
The episodes, videos, writing, artwork, logos and design on this site belong to us or to the people who have licensed them to us. You are welcome to listen, watch and share links. Please do not copy, re-upload, sell or edit our content without written permission. Short quotes with credit and a link back are fine.
Podcast guests and testimonies
If you share your story with us, by applying, booking, recording or sending material, you give us permission to record, edit, publish and promote your testimony, name, voice, image and the details you choose to share, in any format and anywhere, without payment. You keep ownership of your own story. You confirm that what you share is true to your experience, that you have the right to share it, and that you will not share private details about other people without their permission.
Before recording, we will send you a short guest release to sign. If that release says something different from these terms, the release wins. You are welcome to ask us any questions about it at support@learntrueself.com.
If you later want your episode changed or removed, write to us. We will do our best to honor the request, but cannot always pull copies that others have already shared.
Comments
We love hearing from you. Please be kind and honest. We may edit, hold or remove comments that are hateful, abusive, spam, off-topic, or that share someone else's private information. By posting, you give us permission to display your comment on the site. You are responsible for what you post.
Not professional advice
Our episodes are personal stories of faith. They are not medical, mental health, therapy, legal or financial advice. Please see our Disclaimer.

Our responsibilities and limits
We share this site "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be online or without errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if you misuse the site or break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. We always prefer to talk first, so please write to us.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept it.
