Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026. What cookies we use and the choices you have.
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. We keep them to a minimum, and analytics only turns on if you say yes.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you are okay with analytics. "Accept" and "No thanks" are equal choices, and the site works the same either way. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as "No thanks" automatically.
You can change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

Cloudflare Turnstile, our spam check, may use local browser storage during a check but does not set tracking cookies.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode. Before you choose, every Google storage setting is "denied" and Google Analytics does not load at all. If you accept, analytics loads. If you decline later, we remove the analytics cookies from this site.
Embeds
Episode videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may store data in your browser once you press play. Podcast players such as Libsyn, Apple Podcasts and Spotify follow their own cookie policies.
Support and gift buttons
Our Support the Show page and footer link to PayPal and Buy Me a Coffee so you can send a gift if you wish. We do not set any cookies for these buttons. If you press the PayPal button, you leave our site and PayPal's own cookie policy applies. If you press the Buy Me a Coffee button, a small box from Buy Me a Coffee may open on top of our page, and Buy Me a Coffee and its payment partners may store cookies or similar data in your browser under their own policies. Nothing from them loads until you press the button.
Our crypto gift form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, described above. It does not set tracking cookies.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
